Samstag Abend, 18.30 Uhr, Flutlicht, Topspiel in der 1. Fußball-Bundesliga.
Die ersten zwölf Minuten hört man jedem Atemzug in der Arena - aber das ist ein anderes Thema.
Danach wird es heiß. Dritter gegen Vierter in der Tabelle und Lukas wieder vor der Entscheidung "Auf welche Seite leg ich mich denn dieses Mal?".
Hab die Vereinsfotografen jeweils gefragt - dumme Idee 😅
Letztendlich habe ich mich für die Ecke entschieden, die für mich eine bessere Chance hat, bejubelt zu werden, WENN die Mannschaft trifft. (Leverkusen hat zwei Ecken vor der heimischen Kurve, Dortmund nur eine mit den eigenen Fans)
Vor dem Spiel noch gedacht, da war doch mal dieser Eckfahnenjubel in der letzten Saison, wechseln wir mal auf ganz weitwinkelig (14mm) statt bei meinen üblichen 28mm zu bleiben.
Wat soll ich sagen - alle Gedanken haben sich ausgezahlt. So dicht war ich wohl noch nie an einem Eckfahnen-Jubel dran.

Saturday night, 6:30 p.m., floodlights on, top match in the Bundesliga.
For the first twelve minutes you could literally hear every single breath in the stadium – but that’s a whole different story. After that, things heated up. Third vs. fourth in the table, and once again I had to answer the big question: “So… which side am I shooting from this time?”
I asked the club photographers from both teams — yeah, terrible idea 😅 In the end I picked the corner that gave me the better chance of getting celebrated if the team scored. (Leverkusen had two corners in front of their home fans, Dortmund only one.)
Before kickoff I remembered that corner-flag celebration from last season and thought: alright, let’s go super wide this time (14mm) instead of my usual 28mm.
What can I say — every bit of overthinking totally paid off. I’ve probably never been this close to a corner-flag celebration in my life.
